Description:Louise is a very talented local artist, whose work is much in demand. She runs her own art school and is an enthusiastic and patient art teacher, who has been teaching her skills to all levels of students, for more than 20 years. Louise creates a warm and friendly atmosphere ideally suited to learning.

Louise will kick off the weekend with an informal introductory talk over a glass of wine on Friday evening.
Demonstrations & Tuition will take place in a dedicated space (or outside where appropriate) on Saturday & Sunday:-
Saturday 10am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm Focus on Seascapes
Sunday 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm Focus on Landscapes
Either a light lunch or pack lunch will be provided each day as well as dinner at leisure each evening.

Trained in The Art College, Belfast and The National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Louise is a painter, not attached to any particular school, deriving ideas, tastes and styles from various sources. She paints in a mixed medium of watercolour, acrylic and gouache on a variety of hand-made papers but in particular Japanese handmade paper called "Washi". Her painting is primarily influenced by the Irish countryside and it's rich colour and people.Louise has exhibited extensively in Ireland and Japan and has undertaken commissions for RTE and the Irish Food Writers Guild. Her work is held in public and private collections and on display in her own private gallery at Ringrone, Kinsale.
