That innovative journey led us in 2016 to begin investing our research and development efforts into exploring AI. With new challenges in today’s digital world, it’s hard for independent hotels to compete in this online ecosystem. With the increased digital marketing world, new travel distribution channels such as metasearch, it’s a struggle to remain competitive. That’s why we’ve seen such a increase in dependency on OTAs, and having to play by their rules.
