Avvio announces industry first CSR partnership with Ronald McDonald House New York

We’re delighted to announced the formation of a five-year partnership deal to support Ronald McDonald House New York (RMH-NY).

The charity, which will also be Avvio Inc’s North American designated charity of choice, is located at East 73rd Street in Manhattan. RMH-NY has provided temporary housing, transportation, meals, and programmatic services for over 59,000 families of children with cancer from all over the world since 1979. In close proximity to 16 partnering hospitals, the House features 95 guest rooms, which includes six post-transplant suites.

Our artificially intelligent (AI) booking engine will be provided to RMH-NY as a complimentary service, giving families, hospital staff and care providers the ability to reserve and book rooms at the House when they need it at the touch of a button.

The actual cost to operate a room at RMH-NY is approximately $310 per night, and RMH-NY relies on donations to cover these costs for families. RMH-NY provides families with the support and services they need so they can focus on what is most important – their child’s health. This partnership deal will also give RMH-NY the option to connect with additional payment providers on their digital booking system. This will assist with diversifying the organisation’s fundraising activities and expand their donation payment methods.

The partnership has been spearheaded by Avvio Inc.’s U.S. President and advisory board member of Ronald McDonald House New York, Rich Tuckwell-Skuda, who has also introduced guest acquisition platform SiteMinder as part of the deal.

This is where we come in, our booking platform is a perfect fit for families to enable them to focus on the care of their loved ones.”
