Avvio shortlisted for Best Agency and Best Technology Innovation at Digital Media Awards 2019

Avvio are delighted to have been named as a finalist in two categories at this year’s Digital Media Awards. 

The shortlist was recently revealed and we are in the running for the ‘Best Agency’ and ‘Best Technology Innovation’ accolades.

Considered the most prestigious digital awards in Ireland, the Digital Media Awards recognise the best in digital advertising and marketing, as well as: content creation; social networking; mobile media; app development; and web design.

The winners will be revealed at a gala dinner taking place in February in Dublin. The event will be hosted by Tom Dunne from Newstalk, Ireland’s national independent talk radio broadcaster.

The Best Agency category celebrates agencies using digital and traditional media channels to excite, enthuse and inspire. Nominees are judged on the overall quality of their work, the technology and its design, the strategies and campaigns devised to achieve objectives as well as ROI.

In recognition of businesses which have implemented or developed ground-breaking technology, the Best Technology Innovation category is judged on the uniqueness and creativity of innovations that have driven improved user experience.

Our booking platform, Allora, is the world’s first direct booking engine powered by artificial intelligence and its technology (which has already been recognised in a number of awards ceremonies) is supported by an experienced team of digital marketing, revenue and web design experts. In 2018, Avvio was recognised by Google in the top three per cent of digital agencies across the EMEA region.

Last year we achieved significant success in the Irish hospitality market as the booking engine supplier to the highest market share of luxury hotels in the country. Our shortlisting in the Digital Media Awards is another indication of our growing prominence across the country.
