We’re back in the office following a great week in Amsterdam for the HSMAI Region Europe and HITEC events, where I’m very pleased to say we continued the winning streak for another month!
The joint sessions in Amsterdam, which are a collaboration between our partners at Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) and HSMAI (Hospitality, Sales and Marketing Association International) Region Europe, brought together hundreds of professionals from across the hospitality industry.
Avvio picked up the Best Technology Innovator of the Year award for Allora at the HSMAI Region Europe Awards, which forms part of the events. We’re incredibly honoured to receive the Best Technology Innovator for Allora, and I’m so proud of the team’s efforts to create the world’s first AI-powered booking engine and to receive this recognition at a key event like the HSMAI Awards. We have been really impressed with the event, and it was a great opportunity to mix with colleagues from across the industry.
I also had the pleasure of taking part in the co-located HITEC Europe events as a speaker. I joined a session on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Voice Recognition: Impact on Hospitality’, and our VP of Client Strategy Ian Sloan, joined a panel session focusing on direct bookings versus online travel agencies.
All-in-all a very informative and engaging week spent with colleagues from across the industry.
