It was a night of wins for Avvio’s Irish hotel customers at the Gold Medal Awards!
This year’s ceremony saw many of Avvio’s customers triumphing across several categories, proving that strong partnerships impact on overall performance.
Our talented design team worked with The Ice House Hotel this year to develop its new, fully optimised website to ensure great customer communication. The hotel was named as the winner of the Best Hotel Website category.
Adare Manor was named as Ireland’s Five Star Hotel as well as the 2018 Supreme Winner. In 2017, Avvio partnered with Adare Manor to create a new website ensuring a smooth and enjoyable customer journey following the hotel’s extensive restoration.
Grabbing the public vote as Ireland’s Favourite Place to Stay was Castle Leslie Estate, best Business Hotel went to Limerick Strand Hotel, Ireland’s Wedding Hotel award was taken home by Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa and the best Family Friendly Hotel award was given to Newpark Hotel.
Other winning Avvio customers included Ashford Castle which received the awards for both Ireland’s Wine Experience and Ireland’s Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant, and Dromoland Castle, which received the accolade as Ireland’s Best Guest Experience category.
The Gold Medal Awards are the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry and recognise the highest standards in the industry across the country.
It was a fantastic evening meeting with customers and other hoteliers, and a great opportunity to celebrate all that we have achieved in Ireland over the past year.
