The Rise of the Robots in the Hotel Industry - Join Avvio at the Hotel Insight Forum
Keep updated with what's happening in travel technology...
Robots have come to the hotel industry but it’s not as threatening to businesses as you might expect. On 13 September I'll explain how this is a positive step forward for the industry during a session at the Hotel Insights Forum.
In my session, entitled 'Rise of the Robots', I'll explain this rapid period of technological change and then come together with Twist Consultancy’s Nick Crawford, Kelly Cronin from Interstate Hotels and Umi Digital’s Steve Lowry, to discuss the impact that various technologies are set to have on the hotels, hospitality and meetings industry.
Digitalisation and technology are advancing faster than ever and hospitality professionals cannot afford to be complacent, especially if they want to keep meeting their guests’ expectations. Chatbots, personalisation, AI… The reality is that guests expect these services now. They experience personalisation and AI every day through Netflix, Amazon, Twitter and Siri. And now they expect it when booking a hotel room or organising an event. Guests crave relevant, personalised experiences and businesses can give this to them on their website and across their digital channels relatively simply. I’m going to discuss with the rest of the panel how to do this in a way that improves efficiencies, conversions and ROI.”
Hosted by the BDRC at the Amba Hotel in Marble Arch, London, the Hotel Insights Forum 2017 is a full day event, driven by exclusive customer insight data. Industry luminaries will tackle the threats, opportunities and challenges faced by the hospitality industry.
As partners of the forum, which is now in its ninth year, Avvio is supporting the entire event and will also release their brand new whitepaper on digital personalisation in the hotel industry, which delegates can pick up for free.
If you’re attending, make sure to join my panel, or get in touch if you’d like to learn more about how Avvio can improve your digital strategies and your direct booking revenue.
