In an effort to give back to the industry and to help Hospitality Individuals to upskill, Avvio are launching a Hotel Digital Academy. The Academy will cover an introduction to digital marketing tailored specifically to the Hospitality Industry, through self learning modules, a range of webinars and guides supported by the Avvio Digital team.
This will be open to everyone across the Hospitality Industry. Our Digital experts will be on hand to guide you through webinars on topics that are most relevant to the industry.

The Hotel Gift Card Store is an e-commerce platform that supports hotels by driving demand for their gift vouchers. This centralized online store enables consumers to support both local and international businesses by purchasing gift vouchers that can be used at a later date. This platform is available to any hotel and is not limited to Avvio customers.
We know that some consumers are reluctant to book hotel rooms right now – but we strongly believe that the best trading opportunity is for vouchers and that this revenue stream will continue to grow over the coming months. We have already seen a huge uptake in the Guest Retention Voucher and have sold over a quarter of a million euros in voucher revenue in March.

Guest Retention Voucher
Avvio unveiled new e-commerce functionality aimed at supporting hoteliers in recouping potential losses from booking cancellations as a direct result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The feature will ease the burden of unprecedented levels of cancellations by incentivising guests who want to cancel a booking to purchase a voucher, at a discounted rate, for a returning visit in the future. The guest retention voucher has been specially developed to support hotels to tailor exclusive incentives to cancelling guests in order to support e-commerce during the global downturn in travel.
