Immediately following Leo Varadkars’ announcement on 1st May, we reported a surge in Irish domestic hotel bookings for July and August this year. The 370% increase in bookings clearly indicates that the appetite to travel has not diminished and gives us renewed hope for the tourism recovery in Ireland.
