Our E-Commerce team is celebrating this week after they achieved a qualification giving them unrivalled expertise on revenue management.
A dozen members of the E-Commerce team are now Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) qualified highlighting their knowledge in the field.
The achievement, a Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) certification, means the team is fully qualified to make informed decisions to maximise revenue opportunities and adds to its Google accreditation.
Our Co-founder and CEO, Frank Reeves said: “I’m so proud that our team is CRME qualified. It is a tremendous skillset to have and we are the only provider to have this. Both Avvio and our hotel clients will benefit hugely from the extra knowledge we are able to share.”
Kate O’Flynn, E-Commerce Manager, said it was a great result for Avvio. She said: “We are absolutely thrilled. Though with the hard work the team put in, it was never in question. The team underwent six months of intense training and will get a refresher every three years.

Before the course, I don’t think we fully understood the challenges that hotels faced and I feel that they didn’t want to share these challenges with us because we might not understand. I’m hoping this qualification will help us to showcase knowledge of the industry and hopefully work closer with General Managers and Revenue Managers in the various hotels we partner with. I also believe it will give us a competitive advantage over our rival marketing agencies.”
